Arrival & Info

By public transport:

From the North (Germany/Switzerland): train to Chur, change train to the Rhätische Bahn (UNESCO World Heritage train) towards St. Moritz, where you change to the bus towards Maloja/Chiavenna. Get off at stop Maloja Posta.

From the South/Italy: train to Chiavenna, where you change to the public bus to St. Moritz, get off at stop Maloja Posta.

Alternatively from Lugano using the Palmexpress direction St. Moritz, getting off at Maloja Posta. 

From the village of Maloja it is a 20 minute walk to Salecina, following the walking path towards Cavloccio-See/Fornopass.

Your luggage can be collected by a member of the team from the bus stop in Maloja on request between 10.00 and 19.00 o’clock. Please inform the team of your exact arrival time on the day before.

By car:

From the North: motorway A13 passing Chur leaving exit Thusis-Süd (exit 22), then national road 3 over the Julier Pass (2284 m) to St. Moritz. Turn right in Silvaplana (before you reach St. Moritz) towards Maloja.

In Maloja you drive through the village towards the valley Bergell. Turn left 150 m after a big old hotel (Maloja Kulm) to your left. There is a sign ‘Parkplatz 300m’ and a brown sign post ‘Salecina’. From here it is about one km along a dirt road to Salecina, which is the last house just before a little bridge. In front of the house is a colourful column – a piece of art by Gottfried Honegger. You can unload your luggage in Salecina and park your car in the free car park 5 minutes away.
